Swiss Miss Protein Hot Chocolate

A new hot chocolate product for Swiss Miss has been created with the goal to target a more health conscious audience and provide consumers with a hot chocolate they've always loved with macros they can love too. The main goal was to reposition the lovable Swiss Miss brand into a contrasting market by creating a Protein Hot Chocolate as a product extension for the brand.
The Challenge
The biggest challenge while designing the packaging was to create something that would successfully reposition the brand into a contrasting market without straying too far from the Swiss Miss brand.
Brand Keys
Brand Keys were created to get a better understanding of the current Swiss Miss consumer compared to the new targeted consumer for Swiss Miss Protein Hot Chocolate. Figuring out the overall brand essence was shifting from quick and easy hot chocolate to healthy and tasty hot chocolate helped to influence design decisions in the next phases of the project.
